Why This Site Exists

This site is designed to help anyone planning a visit to Oceano Dunes, or already camping on the sand, with a wide base of local knowledge to make the trip an enjoyable one.
Central Coast Wheelers does its part to keep the dunes open for OHVs: picking up trash, repairing fences, and helping visitors learn the rules and regulations. If there's information you need that we don't offer, contact us so we can make the site better.
Keep the dunes open
Donations of any kind should go to Friends of Oceano Dunes (FoOD), who do their part in the political arena. Anger and rudeness won't help the cause. Educate yourself, communicate with FoOD, and remember: there is power in numbers, but only if the numbers work as a team.
